PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. THESE TERMS LIMIT OUR LIABILITY, INCLUDING FOR LOSS OF OR DAMAGE TO YOUR VEHICLE AND ITS CONTENTS, AND THEY REQUIRE MOST DISPUTES TO BE RESOLVED BY INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION RATHER THAN IN COURT OR A CLASS ACTION. YOU MAY OPT OUT OF ARBITRATION WITHIN 30 DAYS, AS DESCRIBED IN SECTION 15.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
These Parking Terms are an agreement between you and Perspective Processing Inc., doing business as PPI Parking ("PPI", "we", "us"). They apply when you create an account, book parking, or park at our lot at 214 S. Locust St, Inglewood, CA 90301 (the "Lot") through ppiparking.com or any page we operate (the "Site"). Our Lot Rules and Privacy Policy are part of these terms.
You accept these terms by checking the agreement box when you create an account and when you book. If you do not agree, do not book or park.
2. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.
- You must give accurate, current information, including your name, email, mobile number and the license plate, plate state, make, model and color of every vehicle you register. You are responsible for any booking made through your account.
- Keep access to your email account secure, because sign-in codes are sent there. Tell us right away at [email protected] if you think someone else has used your account.
- We may refuse service, cancel bookings, or suspend accounts for fraud, misuse, unpaid amounts, or violations of these terms or the Lot Rules, and will refund any affected unused nights unless the cancellation results from your breach.
3. What a booking gives you: a license, not storage
A booking gives you a limited, revocable license to park one registered vehicle in one available stall at the Lot during the days and hours shown on your pass. The Lot is open for bookings Monday through Thursday from 6:00 PM to 5:00 AM the next morning, and Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 5:00 AM to 5:00 AM the next morning. Each booking covers the arrival and leaving times you choose within those hours, shown on your pass. Bookings do not run past 5:00 AM. Stalls are not assigned.
Rates. The price depends on how long you stay and whether an event is scheduled: stays of up to 3 hours, stays of up to 6 hours, a full overnight or full day, and an event rate for stays that overlap a scheduled stadium or arena event. The price for your exact times is shown before you pay and is the total you pay.
Attendant hours. A security attendant is on site from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM. Before 9:00 PM the Lot is self-park: enter through the main gate and park in any open stall. No attendant will be present to greet you, and none is needed for your booking to be valid.
No bailment is created. We do not take possession, custody or control of your vehicle or its contents. You park and lock your own vehicle and keep its keys. Our staff and security attendant do not accept keys, do not move vehicles, and are not vehicle custodians.
4. Prices, taxes and payment
- The price shown before you pay is the total price for your booking. It includes the City of Inglewood parking tax and any other charge we collect. We do not add booking or service fees at checkout.
- Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Prices can change at any time, but a change never affects a booking you have already paid for.
- Your receipt and pass show the amount paid, including the parking tax.
5. Monthly passes do not renew
A Weeknight Monthly pass covers the Monday through Thursday nights in the four weeks starting on the night you choose, except nights the Lot is closed for a stadium or arena event. Closed nights are left off your pass, and the price drops by one-sixteenth of the pass price for each one before you pay. It is a one-time purchase. It does not renew automatically and we will not charge your card again unless you make a new booking.
6. Cancellations and refunds
- You may cancel from your pass or account at any time before your booking starts (the arrival time shown on your pass) for a full refund to your original payment method. Refunds usually appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
- Once a booking has started, it is non-refundable, including days you do not use, except as stated in section 7.
- Contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. We usually resolve problems faster, and a dispute may delay your refund. Filing a dispute for a booking you used may lead to account suspension.
7. Our space guarantee and closures
We sell only the stalls we have. If you arrive during your booked hours with your registered vehicle and we cannot provide a stall, tell the attendant (9 PM to 5 AM) or email [email protected] before you leave the area, and we will refund that night in full. If we must close the Lot for an emergency, police order, utility failure, severe weather, construction, or another cause beyond our reasonable control, we will refund the affected nights. A refund of the affected nights is your sole remedy for these situations.
8. Your responsibilities
- Park only the vehicle registered on your booking. If you change vehicles, update the booking or your account before you park.
- Follow the Lot Rules, posted signs and staff directions.
- Remove your vehicle by 5:00 AM at the end of each booked day. Vehicles left after the booked time may be charged for the additional time at our posted rate and, if they block operations or remain unclaimed, may be towed at the owner's expense as allowed by California law.
- Do not leave valuables, pets, or children in your vehicle. Lock your vehicle and close all windows.
- You are responsible for damage you or your passengers cause to the Lot, other vehicles or people.
9. Damage or incident reports
If you find damage or loss involving your vehicle, report it to the attendant before you leave the Lot, take photos where the vehicle is parked, and email a written report with your booking code and photos to [email protected] within 24 hours. Claims not reported this way may be denied because we cannot verify them once the vehicle has left. Any claim is reviewed under section 11 and any insurance that may apply.
10. Towing and enforcement
Unauthorized vehicles, vehicles parked outside the booked hours, vehicles without a valid booking, and vehicles parked in violation of the Lot Rules may be removed at the owner's expense under California Vehicle Code section 22658. Tow notices are posted at each entrance with the tow company's name and phone number and the Inglewood Police Department's number.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PPI, ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS AND THE LOT OWNER ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THEFT OF OR DAMAGE TO ANY VEHICLE OR ITS CONTENTS, OR FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY, EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT CAUSED BY OUR NEGLIGENCE, GROSS NEGLIGENCE, FRAUD OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS. FOR CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE SITE OR A BOOKING OTHER THAN CLAIMS FOR PROPERTY DAMAGE OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY OUR NEGLIGENCE, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE BOOKING THAT GAVE RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under California law, including under California Civil Code section 1668.
12. Security cameras and the attendant
The Lot is lit and recorded by security cameras around the clock, and a security attendant is on site from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM. These measures help deter crime but are not a promise that theft, damage or injury will not happen, and the attendant does not take custody of vehicles. Footage is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Your indemnity
You agree to defend and hold PPI harmless from claims, losses and reasonable legal fees arising from your violation of these terms or the Lot Rules, your misuse of the Lot, or damage or injury caused by you, your passengers or your vehicle, except to the extent caused by our negligence or misconduct.
14. Text messages and email
We send transactional emails about your account and bookings, such as sign-in codes, passes, receipts and cancellations. We send text messages only if you opt in. Message frequency varies with your bookings, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of booking. We send marketing email only with an unsubscribe link in every message.
15. Disputes, arbitration and class-action waiver
If you have a concern, email [email protected] first. We will try to resolve it within 30 days.
If we cannot, you and PPI agree that any dispute arising from these terms, the Site, a booking or your use of the Lot will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, except that either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court, and either of us may ask a court to stop infringement or misuse of intellectual property. Arbitration may take place by video or in Los Angeles County. For claims under $10,000, PPI will pay the filing, administration and arbitrator fees beyond what you would pay to file in court, unless the arbitrator finds your claim frivolous.
YOU AND PPI EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO TAKE PART IN A CLASS, COLLECTIVE OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.
Opting out. You may opt out of this section within 30 days after you first accept these terms by emailing [email protected] with the subject "Arbitration opt-out" and your name and account email. Opting out does not affect any other part of these terms.
If the class-action waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim will proceed in court and not in arbitration. Nothing here prevents you from seeking public injunctive relief where California law guarantees that right.
16. Governing law
California law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Except for arbitration and small claims, disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Changes apply only to bookings made after the change. If a change is material, we will show it on the Site and ask you to accept the updated terms before your next booking. The date at the top shows the latest version.
18. General
- You agree to receive these terms, receipts and notices electronically.
- If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
- Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
- You may not transfer your bookings or account. We may assign these terms to a successor that operates the Lot.
- These terms, the Lot Rules and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and PPI about the Site and the Lot.
